Description
I have always wanted to do a portrait of a wild horse to capture the expressive eyes they always seem to have. This white and gray stallion seems to have a "Watchful Eye" on his band of mares in case any other young hopeful males wander into his territory. It is always exciting to find a group of Salt River wild horses feeding near or in the river outside of the Phoenix, AZ area. I have been fortunate enough to see them often and to take pictures of them from a distance.
