Description
This small watercolor painting portrays the typical landscape around the Sedona, Arizona area. Lots of red rocks fill the valleys and canyons while the almighty saguaro cactus stands as a sentinel on the rocky hillside. Morning sunshine bathes the patches of flowers and grasses to create a sunny glow. The misty layers of red and purple mountains fade away into the distance leaving the viewer breathless. This image is a composite of places I have visited all around the Red Rock Country, rather than one specific place.
