Description
This small panel is number three in a 3-part series, or triptych, that I did in watercolor of the Superstition Mountains from the Lost Dutchman State Park near the Phoenix, Arizona area. This panel has red cholla cactus flowers and orange prickly pear cactus blooming in the desert springtime. A few saguaro cacti dot the desert landscape around the mountains. The Flat Iron part of the mountain can be seen in the background. A male Gambel's quail is perched on the prickly pear cactus. Panels 1 and 2 are also available. A print of all three panels as one, is also available as a triptych.
