Description

This acrylic painting on canvas represents golfing in Arizona at the TCP Scottsdale course in Arizona, where the Waste Management Open Tournament is held. It is my interpretation of the scenery there. The fellow swinging his club seems to have left a divot or two and his ball fell short! The Gambol's quail on the fairway were startled, I am sure. The Tiger Woods look-alike is standing by; slightly amused at the swing. Sand traps are visible midway down near the greens. The flag is in the distance with gorgeous purple mountains in the background. Lots of saguaro cacti are scattered around the course along with many other cactus varieties in the sandy garden area. A common roadrunner and Jack rabbit are among the animals on this course. This was a gift meant to instill a little humor for a golfer. Images without the slogan, "May The Course Be With You", are also available.
