A new technique for me was to create a soft, serene feeling with sparkles of sunshine coming through the trees and reflecting into the pond. I did a wash on the paper and while it was wet, dropping in lots of color and letting the flow of the paint determine what my subject was going to be. I wanted to keep the soft, peaceful feeling with not a lot of detail.
