This painting of the First United Methodist Church of Gilbert, Arizona was for an art show in Gilbert, AZ depicting things recognizable within the city.
I have always admired the architecture of this beautiful building with it's lovely bell tower and dome supporting the cross that reaches to the heavens.
I wanted the sky to have a lot of action and color within the cloud formations and was very happy with the outcome. The original was donated to this Methodist Church in memory of my parents.
