Marvelous antique toy! (I collect the antique tin toys, occasionally putting them in my paintings and am familiar with this GI guy!). Very cool contest entry with excellent composition! jean

Artist's Description

This antique toy was given to me as a child just after World War II ended. As you can see, it had many years ot enjoyment between my brother and I. Then it was left at Grandma's house for the grandchildren to play with. That is how G.I. Joe lost his helmet! He is a great windup toy and still works after 70+ years of pleasure.
