Description
While visiting Butterfly Wonderland in Scottsdale, AZ, I was able to capture this photo of the Banded Peacock butterfly from Asia. They house several thousand butterflies there from all over the world in various stages of development.
The butterflies are in a glass-enclosed atrium with a rain forest atmosphere.
This banded peacock was very difficult to capture as they only light for a few seconds. The peacock blue on its' wings was so vibrant and metallic looking.
