Artist's Description
This springtime desert landscape was taken from a trail at the Usery Mountain Regional Park near Phoenix, Arizona. The Superstition Mountains are engulfed in shadows in the background from the storm clouds that were building rapidly. A cholla cactus, in the foreground, sparkled in what little sunlight there was at the time while the mighty saguaro cacti stood guard along the trail.
