This desert scene was taken from the Usery Pass highway near Phoenix, Arizona, The hourly fountain eruption was visible in the city of Fountain Hills through the foreground image of saguaro cacti and other desert plants. The cactus seemed to frame the famous icon of the area including the McDowell Mountains in the background.
