Title
Northern Cardinal Pair
Artist
Marilyn Smith
Medium
Painting - Watercolor
Description
A watercolor painting of a pair of Northern Cardinals trying to catch a meal of the frozen berries that remained on a bare tree when the first snow storm coated all the branches. It created a difficult landing for the male cardinal as he was reaching for the best berry and nearly lost his balance. His wings are flapping to save his not-so-graceful perch while his female companion looks on. This little painting would make a lovely Holiday or Christmas card as well as a lovely print for the cardinal lovers out there.
