Description
This is a watercolor painting by Marilyn Smith depicting a garden with an old adobe wall and a clay pot filled with the Jalapeno plants that will soon become the ingredient for hot sauce! A ladybug sits on the edge of the pot not realizing the danger he could be in with the collared lizard perched nearby waiting for a little snack. Jalapeno peppers grow readily in the Southwest areas of Arizona and New Mexico. They are a popular addition to most Mexican style food dishes. This would make a great piece of kitchen art. This painting is a detailed section of the original artwork titled "Hot Sauce On The Vine".
