Description
This watercolor painting of a little sidewalk chalk artist in her cute, denim dress with her lovely brown hair falling in wisps around her pretty face, was inspired by my grand niece. She was so intent on her chalk creation on the patio stones that she had to kick off her cowgirl boots and toss aside her teddy bear so that she could get comfortable. She was surrounded by lots of flowers in her grandparents yard and the sun was creating a lovely background of mottled shadows. What a perfect model!

What a cutie! There's a lot of chalk art going on in our area just now, but none as charming as this. Congratulations on your selection as a Showcase Artist of the Week in the WFS group.
