Description
A cactus wren finding an insect among the saguaro blooms.
The cactus wren is an extremely brazen and humorous character. He loves chocolate chip cookies and won't hesitate to steal them from a plate on the front porch during morning coffee! However, I chose to paint him in this watercolor in a more natural setting which gave me the opportunity to include the intriguing bloom of the "Desert Sentinel", the saguaro.
