Cool, Cool Water
Artist
Marilyn Smith
Medium
Painting - Watercolor
Description
One lonely, wild stallion is taking a drink of "Cool, Cool Water" from a rock strewn river or possibly Oak Creek at the famous Red Rock Crossing near Sedona, Arizona. The red rocks in the background are similar to the Cathedral Rock formation in that popular area. This watercolor painting is really a composite of many scenes in my reference file and can be interpreted to represent several different places in the great Southwest area.
