Description
The tiny little verdin, a common bird in Arizona gardens and yards, loves to pull apart the blooms on the bougainvillea bushes. It is always a delight to see these shy little birds flitting around the flowers and chirping as they nibble away! It is very difficult to catch them sitting still long enough for a photo. They also love to visit the hummingbird feeders and snatch a little nectar. Using the depth of field I was able to created a mottled and colorful backdrop for the bird and the bush!
