Description
This early morning desert scene by Marilyn Smith represents the Superstition Mountains near the Valley of The Sun in Arizona. The sun is bouncing off the cliffs of the mountains and the Phainopepla birds are looking for their breakfast. The sleepy little lizard is already out hoping to catch a few rays to warm him up as he looks for bugs. The saguaro cacti are edged with an orange glow and the other desert plants are beginning to bloom. In the distance is another mountain range that includes an icon known as Four Peaks. The desert always produces such wonderful layers of color and shadow as one takes in the glorious view.

Many thanks to the Warner Bros. Studios for purchasing a print of "Good Morning Arizona" for the use in the set of a new movie being produced for release in July of 2023. It will be named "Coyote Vs.
