Description
First place winner in the Apples Whole or Sliced contest 9/16.
The autumn harvest of delicious red apples sits near the window,
just waiting to be turned into yummy apple pie or applesauce.
This is a new version of my old Apple Harvest painting.
1st place winner in Kitchen Witch Healthy Eating Contest
You can almost see the apple tree outside the window
which is bathed in sunlight.
The rays are streaming through the window onto the wooden basket
filled to the brim with juicy red apples.
One apple spilled over the edge onto the table beneath the basket.
A ladybug sneaked into the house, perhaps on one of the apples!
The bug is crawling along the window, enjoying the sunshine too.
Grandma's old wooden spoon hangs on the brick wall where it has been ever since she started cooking and canning fruit so many years ago.
It will remain there always to preserve the wonderful memories that it "stirs" up!
